UFC 223: Paul Felder vs James Vick booked for Jan. 26 in Anaheim

A pair of hard-hitting Lightweights are set to invade Honda Center in Anaheim, California, as Paul Felder and James Vick have been booked to throw hands at the upcoming UFC 233 event, set for January 26, 2019.

The two were set to collide earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 133 before the promotion yanked Vick from the fight to book him against Justin Gaethje a month later at UFC Fight Night 135. “The Texecutioner” went on to lose the bout via first-round knockout.

As for Felder, he hasn’t competed since dropping a split-decision to Mike Perry at UFC 226, a fight “The Irish Dragon” took at Welterweight on short notice. Prior to that, Felder won three in a row at 155 pounds, two of which earned him “Performance of the Night” bonuses. Now, the hard-hitting combatants will look to get back in the win column and settle their business once and for all.

UFC 233 will likely feature the long-awaited debut of former Bellator MMA and ONE Welterweight champion, Ben Askren, as he is in talks to face ex-champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler in his first fight inside the Octagon.

The pay-per-view (PPV) event is set to go head-to-head with the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix finale, which will feature Fedor Emelianenko taking on Ryan Bader in the headlining act. That means you can expect UFC to continue to stack the deck in order to get one over on Scott Coker and Co.
