So I just found out that former heavyweight boxing champion and UFC super fan, Mike Tyson, has a ranch where he grows his own marijuana. Which I guess in the grand scheme of things, probably isn't the worst job to have after retiring from combat sports.
As luck would have it, “Iron” Mike was in Helix, Dublin, Ireland, not far from where former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, won his first world title while competing on the international circuit.
And where there’s smoke, there’s fire “Notorious.”
“I love and respect Mike Tyson and I love the Helix,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “I won my first World Title here, and also my second. It was good to meet you Mike. Your Marijuana strain that you grow on your own ranch ‘KO Kush’ is really nice. It was an honor to taste it and I wish you and your team all the best with this endeavor.”
McGregor had a lengthy message for Tyson on his Instagram page here.
The power-punching Irishman has been on tour these past few weeks to promote his new Irish Whiskey, Proper No. 12, a business venture that is expected to make McGregor a billionaire, according to this forward-looking statement.
Even so, no amount of money will keep “Notorious” from getting back into the cage, judging by these remarks, but let’s hope it’s somewhere down the road so all the “Kush” doesn’t ruin McGregor’s chance to score that free T-shirt.
