UFC 230 results, recap and link wrap up: Cormier subs Lewis, Souza sleeps Weidman

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market with its UFC 230 mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Sat. night (Nov. 3, 2018) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, headlined by heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, tapping out top division contender, Derrick Lewis.

In the UFC 230 co-headliner, former UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, went down in the third round against fellow 185-pound contender, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, not long after middleweight striking phenom, Israel Adesanya, had his coming out party opposite veteran standout, Derek Brunson.
