Knockout! Watch Israel Adesanya viciously dismantle Derek Brunson at UFC 230

Israel Adesanya finally delivered the goods last night (Sat., Nov. 3, 2018) at UFC 230 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, when he steamrolled middleweight contender Derek Brunson via first-round TKO (head kick and punches).

“Last Stylebender” really needed to turn in a good performance on the big stage last night to cash in on his growing potential. The former kickboxing standout had to defend some Brunson clinch work in the early going but ultimately got the job done.

Adesanya unloaded on Brunson deep in the first round after catching the veteran with a perfectly-timed knee. Brunson wobbled and “Last Stylebender” opened up. He blasted Brunson with head kicks, right hands, knees inside, and one final left hand that put “The One” down for good.

With this performance, Adesanya improves his undefeated professional record to 15-0 and locks down the biggest finish of his career. This was a true coming out party for Adesanya and it should only lead him to a massive fight his next time out.

If the comparisons to Jon Jones are going to prove true then maybe the promotion should book “Last Stylebender” for UFC 232 this December.
