Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently unveiled a shitload of mixed martial arts (MMA) events for the first quarter of 2019, and it now looks as though one of those stops will be inside O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
That’s according to a report from MMA Junkie (via Svetmma.sk), which has the world’s largest combat sports promotion using the historic city for its UFC on ESPN+ 3 fight card on Feb. 23, though nothing is official at this time and no names have been attached to the outing.
Prague is one of those historic European cities famous for its breathtaking architecture and religious influence. Regrettably, the only thing I remember from my trip there a few years back was the fried dough I wolfed down at the Christmas market near that giant cuckoo clock. Oh, and some cute clerk named Stella.
Stay tuned for UFC on ESPN+ 3 fight card announcements in the coming weeks, if not days.
