Floyd Mayweather Jr. was put on notice earlier today (Sat., Nov. 17, 2019) at RISE 129 in Tokyo, Japan, as kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa extended his perfect record to 28-0 with a dominant first-round TKO (knockdowns) win over Taiki Naito.
Remember, Mayweather and Nasukawa are scheduled for an exhibition boxing match this December as part of RIZIN’s end-of-year card. The bout was scheduled, cancelled, and then confirmed to be back on, but after seeing this performance “Money” may want to change his mind again.
Nasukawa, 20, is a Japanese striking prodigy. The kickboxer has even crossed over into mixed martial arts (MMA) for an undefeated 4-0 record under the RIZIN banner. Earlier today, Nasukawa did his bidding inside of the ring by finishing Naito with relative ease. The kid known as “Ninja Boy” knocked Naito down two times before putting a fight-ending combination together along the ropes that finally shut down his Japanese counterpart.
Check out the impressive finish above.
While Nasukawa’s upcoming matchup with Floyd “Money” Mayweather is expected to be an exhibition, the young superstar will have his chance to put it on the undefeated boxing legend. If kicks were involved Mayweather wouldn’t stand a chance. But they aren’t so Nasukawa will have to do all of his work with his hands, which are absolutely dynamite evident by the above knockout.
