It’s no secret that Conor McGregor is one of the most popular athletes in the world. But is the former two-division UFC champion popular enough to tattoo on your own skin?
To most people, probably not. But to some hardcore fight fans looking to pay tribute to “Notorious,” inking his Irish face on their body seems perfectly sane.
While we’ve seen a plethora of McGregor tattoos in the past the above ink may take the cake. It comes courtesy of Canada’s Steve Butcher, who also needled this glorious homage to McGregor’s rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202
At first glance this tattoo looks flawless. It’s often difficult to nail down a real-life portrait but this was done with incredible precision, especially when it comes to the Irishman’s infamous beard and brightly-colored chest tattoo.
The only issue that sort of stands out is McGregor’s chest, which seems to sag a bit. But that’s probably a product of the tattoo’s placement so we’re willing to give it a pass.
