Floyd Mayweather claims Tenshin Nasukawa fight is back on for Rizin with ‘no kicking at all’

Here we go again.

I guess whatever issues Floyd Mayweather had with Rizin Fighting Federation have been resolved, since “Money” claims his Tenshin Nasukawa exhibition fight is back on for New Year’s Eve inside Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Not surprisingly, the ruleset will favor the undefeated boxer.

“It’s gonna be a little boxing exhibition, no kicking at all,” Mayweather told TMZ. “I’m moving around with the guy for nine minutes, and of course it’s gonna be the highest paid exhibition ever. Mayweather Promotions-slash-Rizin. It’s a no-brainer. Just because I’m retired from boxing, I still make appearances worldwide and make a ton of money.”

Mayweather made a surprise appearance in Japan earlier this month to announce a “special rules” bout opposite the kickboxing phenom; however, upon returning to the United States, “Money” claimed he was “blindsided” by the promotion and never agreed to compete.

I’m not sure what changed between then and now, but I have a feeling it has something to do with how many zeroes are on his upcoming paycheck.
