I know the bar was set pretty low after the ratings disaster that was UFC Moncton, but it’s still worth mentioning that UFC Fight Night 139 is the second straight “Zombie” event on FOX Sports 1 that returned big numbers for Chan Sung Jung.
To the tune of 840,000 viewers, up from the previous total of 531,000, though I’m sure Jung isn’t celebrating after getting stopped in the fifth and final round by featherweight striking sensation Yair Rodriguez.

That marks the fourth-best mark for 2018 and the highest rating in nearly six months, according to Dave Meltzer, which is more impressive when you consider UFC Denver faced competition from college football on ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, and ESPN 2, with Georgia vs. Auburn tallying 3,987,000 viewers.
The telecast peaked at 902,000 viewers for the Germaine de Randamie vs. Raquel Pennington women’s bantamweight showdown, while the UFC Fight Night 139 “Prelims” topped by Ashley Yoder vs. Amanda Cooper averaged 565,000 viewers.
