Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight tribal chief, Mike Perry, claimed UFC Fight Night 139 opponent, Donald Cerrone, “broke his damn arm” during their 170-pound co-main event last weekend in Denver, Colorado.
Not the case.
Perry revealed his post-fight X-ray on Tuesday, courtesy of his Instagram stories, showing no broken bones; however, “Platinum” still has to undergo an MRI to determine ligament, tendon, or muscle damage — or perhaps a combination of the three.

Watch Perry tap to the armbar here.
Perry (12-4) ended his 2017 fight campaign with a unanimous decision loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio, then failed to get any momentum going in 2018, putting together a 1-2 record and looking outmatched in the process.
His submission loss to Cerrone marked the first time he’s been finished in his combat sports career. I guess they didn't cover that in Perry’s new home at Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
