Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is going to have lots of downtime after submitting Conor McGregor in the UFC 229 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last month in Las Vegas.

That’s because “The Eagle” is facing a disciplinary suspension from Nevada State Athletic Commission for his role in the post-fight brawl that erupted inside T-Mobile Arena, one that also sat Dillon Danis and the aforementioned McGregor.

So, with that in mind, Nurmagomedov set sail for Nigeria, where he’s expected to help communities without water dig new wells, or perhaps repair the existing ones. I’m sure this missing cache of coins would come in handy for a project like that.

Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, has more than 59 million people without clean water, as well as 123 million without a decent toilet. That equates to nearly 60,000 children a year who die from poor water and unhealthy sanitation, according to Water Aid.

Props to Khabib ... every little bit helps.
