Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hall-of-famer Stephan Bonnar, who finished his mixed martial arts (MMA) career by slugging it out with Tito Ortiz in Bellator MMA, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) over the weekend and detained by citizens until police arrived on the scene.
Check out his mugshot here.
While the details of his arrest sounded a bit fanciful, even by TMZ standards, the actual video of his detainment may be worse, as “The American Psycho” is clearly unwell in the body cam footage that has police trying their damndest to get him to comply.
Here’s another angle:
Kind of scary to think Bonnar was behind the wheel.
The former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) finalist was charged with a felony, as this marks his third arrest for DUI, having previously been nabbed in 2015 and then again in 2016. Police also recovered an AR-15 rifle, an empty bottle of Smirnoff vodka, and a pill bottle for the prescription pain reliever Celecoxib.
His hearing is set for Nov. 26.
