The action delivered on arrival last night (Sat., Oct. 6, 2018) at UFC 229 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor via fourth-round neck crank (highlights here) to retain his lightweight title.

Adding to the main event madness was a co-main event tilt between former UFC champions Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis that turned into one of the best fights of the year, Derrick Lewis scored an improbable comeback finish over Alexander Volkov, Vicente Luque blasted Octagon newcomer Jalin Turner, and undefeated women’s bantamweight contender Aspen Ladd put a quick stop to veteran Tonya Evinger via first-round TKO.
