Knockout! Watch Don Madge brutally finish Te’Jovan Edwards via head kick at UFC Moncton

South African prospect Don Madge pulled off a huge upset victory earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 27, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 138 from inside Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, when he finished -500 favorite Te’Jovan Edwards via second-round knockout (head kick).

Edwards pressured with heavy counters from the opening bell, but Madge utilized his strong Muay Thai attack to create space on the feet. After catching Edwards with a left head kick in the second round “Magic Man” immediately followed his efforts up with a brutal right head kick that put Edwards out.

With this performance, Madge bursts onto the UFC with a spectacular knockout finish, extending his current win streak to five (all by way of stoppage). The UFC lightweight division is an unforgiving place for an unprepared prospect, but “Magic Man” seemed dialed in tonight against a highly-touted newcomer in Edwards.

It will be fun to see what Madge has up his sleeve his next time around.
