Any man who is as familiar with booty and Hennessy as UFC heavyweight title contender, Derrick Lewis, has no doubt logged some miles at the local strip club. Which is probably why “Black Beast” is qualified to assess the UFC 229 post-fight melee between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, among others.
“Felt like I was at one of them hole-in-the-wall strip clubs,” Lewis told the gang at UFC Tonight. “Just a brawl like that you only see in places like that. Especially since there was no black people involved, so it was real crazy.”
What would be even crazier is if Lewis followed suit and dove into the crowd to brawl with Brock Lesnar, who not only has a history of in-cage antics, but may also be cageside for next month’s title fight in the “Big Apple.”
“That’s my plan,” Lewis joked. “I’m planning on Eagle-diving on Brock Lesnar. We’ll see.”
That would require him to upset division champion Daniel Cormier and win the heavyweight title in the UFC 230 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, going down Sat., Nov. 3, 2018 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Their headlining affair was cobbled together at the last minute after the promotion failed to find a suitable pairing for “The World’s Most Famous Arena.” As luck would have it, Lewis was coming off his Alexander Volkov knockout — and corresponding “Hot Balls” interview — and was still fresh in the minds of fight fans.
