It’s Hump DAYYYY! What better way to spend such a day than watching mixed martial arts (MMA) Heavyweights put on their trunks, work up a sweat, shadow box, wrestle, roll on the mats ... well, you get the picture.
Bellator MMA will hold its fight week open workouts to promote two blockbuster television events on Friday (Oct. 12) and Saturday night (Oct. 13, 2018). Bellator 207 “Mitrione vs. Bader” is at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. while Bellator 208 “Fedor vs. Sonnen” is at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. The stream will begin in the video player above at about 5:00 p.m. ET, featuring Light Heavyweight champion Ryan Bader (25-5), former PRIDE champion Fedor Emelianenko (37-5, 1 NC), Heavyweight star Matt Mitrione (13-5) and professional trash talker Chael Sonnen (31-15-1)
Bellator MMA’s open workouts will take place inside The Lodge at Viacom HQ (1515 Broadway, New York, N.Y.) and are free and open to the public. So if you are in “The Big Apple” right now there is no reason for you to be reading this: Get there!
