Mike Perry vs Max Griffin on tap for UFC on FOX 28 in Orlando

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has assembled an interesting welterweight match up for its upcoming UFC on FOX 28 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, on Feb. 24, 2018.

Mike Perry vs. Max Griffin, according to updates both fighters posted on social media.

After racking up back-to-back knockout wins over Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes, Perry (11-2) came up short in a unanimous decision loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC on FOX 26 just last month.

“Platinum” has finished all 11 of his wins by knockout.

Griffin (13-4), meanwhile, is also looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss after Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos outpointed him last October. “Pain” is just 1-2 under the UFC banner since making his debut in late 2016.

Early predictions?

UFC on FOX 28 will feature the middleweight showdown between Yoel Romero and David Branch, while Jessica Andrade and Tecia Torres are slotted to hook ‘em up in strawweight action.

All that’s missing is a main event.
