Michael Johnson isn’t happy with main card snub at UFC Fight Night 124 in his hometown of St. Louis

Michael Johnson will be going back to the city he was born in on January 14, 2018 as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) invades St. Louis, Missouri for the first time with UFC Fight Night 124, which is set to go down inside Scottrade Center.

The only problem is, he isn’t getting the love from the promotion he would’ve preferred, as his fight against Darren Elkins didn’t make the main card, as it was instead relegated to headline the preliminary portion of the event.

“The Menace” took to social media to express his frustrations, while taking a jab at two fighters who did score headlining and co-headlining duties.

That senior citizen Johnson is referring to is Vitor Belfort -- Johnson’s former Blackzilian stablemate -- who is set to take on Uriah Hall in an intriguing Middleweight showdown.

As for the main event, Jeremy Stephens will face off against Doo Ho Choi -- a man who has apparently not caught Johnson’s attention. Rounding out the main card is Paige VanZant taking on Jessica-Rose Clark, while Emil Meek faces Kamaru Usman in Welterweight action.

Anyone think Johnson vs Elkins deserves a spot on the televised portion of the event in favor of any of those aforementioned matchups?
