Johnson, 33, is coming in fresh off a third-round knockout victory over Brazilian Adriano Martins this past September. It was Johnson’s first Octagon appearance since defeating Naoyuki Kotani nearly two years earlier, so “Ragin’” will be pressed to make up for lost time in 2018.
Khabilov, 31, extended his current win streak to five with a unanimous decision over Desmond Green this past September. “Tiger” holds an overall divisional record of 8-2, including wins over Jorge Masvidal and Yancy Medeiros, so he certainly has the potential to make a run at the top 10 by year’s end.
UFC Fight Night 127 currently has no main event in place, but will feature a light heavyweight showdown pitting England’s own Jimi Manuwa against Polish contender Jan Blachowicz.
