An intriguing flyweight showdown that was set to invade "The Lone Star State" between Brandon Moreno and Ray Borg at UFC Fight Night 126 on Feb. 18, 2018 in Austin, Texas, will now take place at UFC 223 on April 7, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the delay earlier today, with Brandon Moreno chiming in on his minor setback via Facebook.
Moreno is coming off a tough loss to Sergio Pettis at UFC Fight Night 114, halting his hot run inside the Octagon. Borg, meanwhile, looks to rebound after coming up short against UFC Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson in his last outing at UFC 216 in highlight reel fashion which saw "Mighty Mouse" break the title defense record.
Now, both men are eager to get back into the winner's circle after hitting a speedbump.
UFC 223 will feature a Lightweight title fight between interim champ Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Also, Rose Namajunas will look to defend her women's Strawweight title and go to go two-for-two against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
