Conor McGregor reacts to Floyd Mayweather cage fighter video: ‘F—k the Mayweathers’

That didn't take very long.

Despite settling their differences at last August’s boxing spectacle, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor McGregor and undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. continue to keep their feud alive on social media.

Take this, for example.

Mayweather recently released a video where he galloped into a UFC-style cage looking buff and light on his feet (watch it). A troll job, no question, but relevant in the wake of recent reports “Money” was interested in making a transition to mixed martial arts (MMA).

McGregor was unimpressed.

The plural (Mayweathers) may be a dig at the recent legal trouble surrounding Floyd Mayweather Sr., who turned himself in to authorities after allegedly assaulting a woman in Las Vegas (more on that here).

The worst part about this entire feud is that it’s building toward nothing, as Mayweather is retired and McGregor refuses to defend his lightweight title, which resulted in the creation of an interim strap and this main event.

Anyone else ready to move on?
