Since the chicken-rat is unavailable, or perhaps too far up the 265-pound ladder (see it), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) power puncher Mark Hunt is ready to fight anyone ranked above him.
Including former title contender Francis Ngannou.
“Anyone above me is fine, (Francis) Ngannou, Stipe (Miocic) ... anyone, Hunt told Herald Sun. “Any man’s beatable and I can beat anyone in the world, regardless of my s—t record. I want a shot at Fabricio (Werdum) and he wants the title shot, but if I can fight someone higher then hopefully I can fight for the title again.”
The record in question is 13-11-1.
The soon-to-be 44 year-old Hunt is not going anywhere until he can first get through up-and-coming heavyweight bruiser Curtis Blaydes, who throws hands with “The Super Samoan” at the UFC 221 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in Perth.
More on that fight here.
In addition, Ngannou is taking some time away from mixed martial arts (MMA) after coming up short against the champ at UFC 220 earlier this month in Boston. But the idea of Hunt and “The Predator” slinging leather has my interest piqued.
What say you?
