Cyborg: I’m fighting Megan Anderson at UFC 221 on Feb. 10 (Updated)

FAKE NEWS!!!

Just a few days removed from her unanimous decision win over Holly Holm (watch it), which took place in the UFC 219 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, women’s featherweight champion Cristiane Justino will put her 145-pound strap on the line against Invicta FC import Megan Anderson.

That’s according to “Cyborg,” who revealed the booking on social media.

They’ll reportedly settle their championship score in the UFC 221 PPV co-main event in Anderson’s backyard of Perth, Australia, which is locked and loaded for Sat., Feb. 10, 2018 inside Perth Arena.

Hopefully the booking holds together. Justino and Anderson were previously scheduled to throw hands in the UFC 214 co-headliner; however, Tonya Evinger was forced to step in on short notice when the Aussie withdrew for personal reasons.

If she does in fact arrive on time and ready to bang, she’ll have a tall mountain to climb. “Cyborg” (19-1, 1 NC) has not lost since her debut fight in early 2005. Anderson (8-2), meanwhile, has captured four straight, all of them finishes.

UFC has yet to make the bout official.
