Mike Tyson continues his long-term quest for financial stability in his later career, recently breaking ground on a marijuana ranch in Southern California. As reported on the Blast, it will be called “Tyson Ranch”, and will have “a hydro-feed plant and supply store, extraction facility, edible factory, premium "glamping" campgrounds and cabins, an amphitheater and the Tyson Cultivation School to teach new growers.”, in addition to 20 acres set aside to actually grow marijuana. It will be designed so that it “will allow master growers to have maximum control of their environment.” The plant became officially legal in California for recreational use on January 1st.
Tyson has a personal history with the drug, even being fined for it in 2000, and has admitted to smoking marijuana in his memoir. A firm believer in it’s healing qualities, he plans to focus on high-quality THC and CBD, as well as fund research into medicinal effects of the drug. California City mayor Jennifer Wood says she hopes the ranch will be a “rebirth” for the city, and the company that manages the property, Tyson Holistic, is comprised of mostly veterans. Providing jobs for previous members of the armed forces is a priority of the venture, especially as Edwards Air Force base is nearby.
The Diaz brothers and Anthony Johnson, among others, are surely taking notes of the proceedings.

Whenever Conor watches someone relevant in his division fight, it seems to get him fired up. At least he’s posting about MMA again.
Cowboy Cerrone said the comments by Jackson-Winklejohn’s photographer about Cyborg being a man do not represent the gym he loves and fights for. That photographer later had his press credentials revoked by the UFC.
