Sounds like the Brazilian stork is about to visit casa de Cyborg.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s featherweight champion, Cristiane Justino, is planning to adopt an 11-year-old girl she refers to as her “niece” later this year, just as soon as “Cyborg” is done with her promotional appearances overseas.

”It’s a relationship between her and I, a promise I’ve made seven years ago,” Cyborg told MMA Fighting. “We have a mother and daughter relationship. We were always together. When I moved to fight in the U.S. it was hard for both of us, and I promised that I would organize my life and bring her. And the time has come to fulfill my promise.”

Justino (19-1, 1 NC) will have to squeeze her motherly duties between her current mixed martial arts (MMA) obligations and her upcoming title fight against reigning bantamweight queenpin Amanda Nunes, which came together after this 145-pound contender got ratted out married.

I smell a sitcom!
