The unbeaten Gregor Gillespie continued his UFC invasion earlier tonight (Sat., Jan. 27, 2018) at UFC on FOX 27 live on big FOX from inside the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, when he ran through hometown favorite Jordan Rinaldi via first-round TKO.
It was all Gillespie the whole way. In effort to take away Rinaldi’s striking, “The Gift” quickly closed the gap and dragged the North Carolina native to the ground with ease. From there, Gillespie worked for full mount, rained down heavy ground-and-pound, forced Rinaldi to cover up, and swung away until the referee jumped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Gillespie extends his undefeated record to 11-0 and locks down his third-straight UFC finish. The New York native may be the best kept secret at 155 pounds and definitely deserves a crack at the lightweight top 15 his next time out.
