It didn’t take too long for the call outs to pour in shortly after Nate Diaz teased an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) comeback, which he revealed would go down later this summer.
Former Lightweight title contender Kevin Lee took to social media to call out the Stockton slugger, telling him to either put his money where his mouth is or go back to participating in one of his favorite hobbies.
Put yo money up then @NateDiaz209 Or shut the fuck up and go back to riding bikes around the park https://t.co/g0DrhPY2zR

He’ll have to hope Eddie Alvarez doesn’t get the fight first.
Diaz hasn’t stepped foot inside the Octagon since August of 2016 after suffering a majority decision loss to Conor McGregor. Since then, Nate has been good with just sitting back waiting for the promotion to throw some big money at him.
Something the promotion was obviously not keen on doing.
As for “The Motown Phenom,” he was last seen getting choked out by Tony Ferguson at UFC 216 (see it), losing out on his chance at becoming the UFC interim lightweight champion in the process. A word to the wise, though, if Lee wants to score a fight against Nate, he needs to ask a lot nicer than that.
He can take a lesson in politeness here.
