What do Miesha Tate and Leroy Green have in common? They both got the glow!
While the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion won’t be catching any bullets with her teeth, “Cupcake” will assume the role of “mom” now that she’s expecting a baby girl with her current beau and former Ultimate Fighter contestant Jonathan “Johnny Boy” Nunez (TUF Babies!).
“I’m proud to announce we are expecting a beautiful baby girl,” Tate wrote on Instagram. “Now you can sit and speculate... or you can just be happy for us. I’d like to ask that everyone respect the fact that (like we have been) we would like to continue to live our private lives primarily out of the media. I won’t comment on specifics so just know that I am very happy, very excited and my life has never felt so complete.”
I can’t help but hear that Maury Povich voice in the back of my mind. Bryan Caraway ... you are NOT the father!
Tate retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) after an uninspired performance against Raquel Pennington at UFC 205 in New York. While she deserves congratulations and good will, I can’t help but find this news mildly amusing after these comments.
Any chance she names the baby “Ronda?”
