Well, this sucks.
Just a few days before the UFC 220 pay-per-view (PPV) event is set to pop off inside TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, an injury to strawweight up-and-comer Jamie Moyle has scrapped her UFC Fight Pass showdown against Maryna Moroz on Saturday night (Jan. 20, 2018). The card will proceed with 11 bouts (see it here).
That’s not all.
UFC light heavyweight contender Ovince Saint Preux is soliciting fights on social media after Ilir Latifi was felled by an undisclosed injury and forced to withdraw from their upcoming UFC on FOX 27 co-main event, slated for Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Sat. Jan. 27, 2018.
See that fight card here.
“Who wants to step up and scrap? I’m even open to going up in weight if NO guys in my division will step up,” Saint Preux wrote on Twitter. “Looking for someone to do what I do: step up and fight.”
UFC has yet to make an official announcement on the fate of “OSP.”
