UFC 220 is all set to go down on Saturday Jan. 20, 2018 from inside TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, and will feature a Heavyweight title fight between division champion Stipe Miocic and power-hitting Francis Ngannou.
Miocic hopes to defend his title for the third time when he faces off against his Francis Ngannou in UFC’s first PPV event of 2018. Stipe hasn’t stepped foot inside the cage since May after a contract dispute with the promotion forced him to the sidelines, but it seems all is well on that front.
Ngannou will be one of Stipe’s biggest tests to date, as he is the most powerful puncher in all of MMA, as “The Predator” has taken out one foe after another rather violently and quickly.
In the co-main event, Daniel Cormier will look to move on from Jon Jones once and for all when he defends his 205-pound title against Volkan Oezdemir.
