Stipe Miocic has four consecutive first-round knockout victories over a “Who’s Who” of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight division. But, perhaps his most impressive of the bunch is his one-hitter quitter of Fabricio Werdum. Indeed, Miocic clipped “Vai Cavalo” right on the kisser and laid him out for the count back at UFC 198 after the overly-aggressive former champion stormed in with reckless abandon.
That mistake not only cost Werdum an early nap, but also his coveted 265-pound title, which Miocic has defended twice since then. He will look to earn a record-breaking third straight title defense when he faces off against the hardest hitting Heavyweight in the world, Francis Ngannou, at the upcoming UFC 220 event in Boston, Mass., on Jan. 20, 2018.
Before then, take a look at Miocic’s utter destruction of Werdum in UFC’s “KO of the Week.” And to see who else is fighting at UFC 220: “Miocic vs. Ngannou” click here.
