So let it be written ... so let it be done?
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, is in danger of having his 155-pound title repossessed, thanks to an impatient fan base and a division full of hungry contenders.
Like these two.
But losing a second title due to inactivity could once again pave the way for championship history, as reigning welterweight kingpin Tyron Woodley is prepared to make some of that “Notorious” money.
“He likes to make history, he likes to break records,” Woodley told the gang at FOX Sports. “I say strip him. Then let him come up to welterweight and try to come for a third belt.”
That probably wouldn't sit well with this guy.
Woodley and McGregor have beef dating back to the UFC 205 weigh ins in New York (watch it). While no hands were thrown, tensions ran high between the top-ranked champions and could soon come to a head inside the cage.
Unless this guy decides to come home.
