Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor are still making headlines, despite settling their differences last August. Not because they have anything new or interesting to say; rather, they just can’t seem to shut up about one another.
“Money” was chirping on Twitter on Wednesday to poke fun at McGregor over some local trouble “Notorious” found himself in back in November. The timing of the post was a little bizarre, but nothing Mayweather does these days (like this) seems to make any sense.
Including a follow-up pic on Instagram that read, “You violate and I will demonstrate!!” McGregor fired back with a post of his own (embedded above), asking him to violate his “Notorious” nut sack.
He probably should have just passed him a note during study hall.
I would like to point out the “nuts” post got 1.2 million likes in just a couple of hours, negating any of those “slow news day” quips you were preparing for the comment section below.
As far as any actual fighting, Mayweather continues to troll the mixed martial arts (MMA) community over cage dreams, while McGregor is content to play with his money until later this summer.
With or without his 155-pound strap.
