UFC 221 poster pic for ‘Whittaker vs Rockhold’ on Feb. 11 in Perth

Now that Georges St-Pierre has vacated the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight title, Robert Whittaker — who previously defeated Yoel Romero for the interim strap — will move on to defend his championship title against Luke Rockhold.

“Rush” was forced to walk away from mixed martial arts (MMA), at least for the time being, after suffering from colitis.

They’ll do the deed in the UFC 221 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, set for Feb. 11, 2018 inside Perth Arena in Western Australia, a five-round headliner that came together after former division titleholder Michael Bisping was stopped by Kelvin Gastelum.

As expected, Whittaker opened as a slight favorite over Rockhold (crunch the numbers here).

The promotion recently released the UFC 221 full poster, which also features the co-main event between the “Super (Skinny) Samoan” Mark Hunt, who collides with rough-and-tumble heavyweight Curtis Blaydes.
