Whatever “medical bullshit” is keeping Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight contender Cat Zingano out of action, doesn’t appear to have any effect on her strength and conditioning.
“Alpha” can be seen picking up former UFC light heavyweight contender and current Bellator MMA 205-pound attraction Phil Davis and carrying him around the gym like he was a sack of potatoes.
Not quite as impressive as this, but it might surpass this.
The 9-2 Zingano, 35, has not competed twice in a calendar year since 2010. In addition, “Alpha” is coming off consecutive losses to Ronda Rousey and Julianna Pena, the latter of which came on the heels of personal tragedy.
When and where she returns to action remains to be seen, but a late 2017 fight is not out of the question. As far as potential opponents, there’s always this list of contenders to choose from.
Any names come to mind?
