The much-anticipated and highly-publicized fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is in the history books, as “Money” managed to score a 10th round technical knockout victory over “Notorious,” despite the fiery Irishman putting up a valiant effort on Aug. 26, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“All Access” shadowed the combatants every step of the way leading up to the event, and now the final episode has been revealed, which delivers a lot of backstage footage that no one had seen before.
From Conor forgetting his gear bag prior to the event, which prompted Floyd to offer up his spare cup to his foe in need, to “Money” doing his best “Mystic Mac” impersonation, warning the referee of potential rabbit punches prior to start time, which McGregor landed plenty of in the bout.
Of course, we get up unprecedented closeup footage of the fight and all of the action in the crowd as well as the corner work in between rounds.
And while Conor may have appeared to be taking the loss in stride, we get a glimpse of Conor in one of his most vulnerable moments, apologizing to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White for coming up short.
