Professional Fighters League (PFL), which is expected to kickoff its inaugural season this January, is bringing a four-fight mixed martial arts (MMA) card to Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.
The Nov. 2 charity extravaganza, benefiting the local “Fight for Children” annual event, will stream live on the promotion’s official website here.
“Fight For Children’s vision is to make early childhood education in Washington, DC, the best in the country,” according to the charity’s website. “Fight For Children works to improve the quality of early childhood education so that all DC students are engaged, ready to learn, and on a path to future success.”
Sounds like a worthy cause.
Headlining the PFL card will be former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov, who collides with streaking Brazilian import Caio Alencar, winner of four straight.
The full fight card is below:
265 lbs.: Blagoy Ivanov vs. Caio Alencar
145 lbs.: Lance Palmer vs. Steven Siler
265 lbs.: Mike Kyle vs. Daniel Gallemore
135 lbs.: Timur Valiev vs. Josenaldo Silva
