Knockout! Watch Aaron Pico finish Justin Linn with one punch at Bellator 183

Everything finally came full circle for top prospect Aaron Pico earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 23, 2017) at Bellator 183 live on Spike TV from inside SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., when the 21-year-old featherweight made good on his overwhelming potential opposite veteran Justin Linn.

After getting submitted in just 24 seconds in his professional debut back in June, Pico came out calm, composed, and calculated in his second Bellator outing. The young gunslinger showed off sound ground-and-pound powered by elite takedown skills, but it was his standup game that did the most damage. During an exchange with Linn, Pico landed a sharp left hook underneath that instantaneously slumped Linn and sent him back into the cage.

The memorable first-round knockout stoppage can be seen above courtesy of Bellator.

With this win, Pico has finally arrived. The up-and-coming featherweight prospect will have to knock off more established foe to work his way towards the championship he desires, but this is a tremendous start. Looks like his time training alongside boxer Miguel Cotto really paid off.

Bellator 183 will start with “Prelims” undercard matches at 7 p.m. ET followed by the main card at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV. MMAmania.com will deliver results and play-by-play updates for the entirety of Bellator 183’s card below.
