One of boxing's biggest fights in recent memory transpired last night (Sat., Sept. 16, 2017) live on HBO pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Mexican knockout artist Canelo Alvarez took on undefeated middleweight king Gennady Golovkin. While both world champions fought toe-to-toe for all 12 rounds, the boxing superfight ended in controversy when the action hit the scorecards (which can be seen above courtesy of Bryan Armen Graham). While one judge scored it in favor of "GGG" 115-113, and another called it a draw, the final judge (Adalaide Byrd) ruled it 118-110 in favor of Canelo. That score for Alvarez has stirred up quite the controversy and is the reason why the fight ended via split draw. For complete ‘Canelo vs. GGG’ results and coverage click here.
