Knockout! Watch Mike Perry brutally finish Alex Reyes at UFC Fight Night 116

The knockout bug infected UFC newcomer Alex Reyes last night (Sat., Sept. 16, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 116 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa., when he stepped in on short notice to face welterweight knockout artist Mike Perry. Unfortunately for Reyes, who is a natural lightweight, Perry wasted little time welcoming him to the Octagon. During a clinch along the cage, “Platinum” blasted Reyes with a huge knee. Reyes fell to the canvas, covered up, and the referee jumped in for the early first-round stoppage.

With this win, Perry earns his fourth knockout finish under UFC rule and proves once again that he’s one of the best finishers in the welterweight division today. Perry needs to round out the rest of his game before he makes a serious push towards title contention, but the 26-year-old is slowly creeping up on the top 10.
