Just when you thought the finishes couldn’t get any sweeter earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 16, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 116 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa., undefeated lightweight Gregor Gillespie went to war with fellow prospect Jason Gonzalez. The talented New York native staved off a valiant attack by Gonzalez before pushing the pace in Round 2. After grabbing a hold of Gonzalez’s neck off a takedown, Gillespie locked up an arm-triangle choke and didn’t let go. Gonzalez defended for a few second before tapping.

With this victory, Gillespie extends his UFC win streak to three and remains undefeated at 10-0. The promising lightweight is really starting to shine as he climbs the ladder at 155 pounds, so its going to be exciting to see what “The Gift” can do as he approaches the top 15.
