The knockout finishes kept rolling in earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 16, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 116 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa., as heavyweight prospect Daniel Spitz added to the mix with a 24-second TKO stoppage over veteran Anthony Hamilton. As any heavyweight fight goes, this one ended after one punch was landed. Spitz stepped into a right hand inside that landed on the temple of Hamilton. The big heavyweight dropped to his knees and Spitz added on some punches before the referee saw enough.

With this win, Spitz locks down his first UFC victory. The 27-year-old heavyweight is certainly a work in progress, but a towering prospect who has solid potential moving forward. If “Daddy Long Legs” can land more shots like this one he’ll have no trouble sticking around in the UFC’s weakest division.
