Jon Jones just posted a cryptic tweet: Please speculate and comment recklessly

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been provisionally suspended from mixed martial arts (MMA); meaning, he’s unable to compete until the results of his drug test are validated by United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

That’s because “Bones” flunked his pre-fight drug test for Turinabol, which cast a long shadow over his UFC 214 knockout win over longtime rival Daniel Cormier. But before any punishment can be handed down, USADA must corroborate its own findings by testing the athlete’s B-sample.

How long that process takes is unknown, though Jones went through a similar situation when he popped ahead of the UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) in 2016 and even if his B-sample is dirty, the pound-for-pound great will still be entitled to a formal hearing to present his side of the story.

Which could range from tainted supplements to executive hatchet job.

In the meantime, Jones has nothing to do but hang out at the gym and post on Twitter. Unless you train at Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you’re probably not privy to the former.

As for the latter? See for yourself:

No telling what that means (and it could mean nothing) but this is the world wide web so please do that Internet-y thing and speculate, which hopefully leads to reckless comments and a bunch of corporate headaches.

What else are you going to do on a crappy Monday ... your job? Pfffft.
