Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, could be making her return to mixed martial arts (MMA) later this year. Or, she could be calling it quits and moving on to other endeavors (like this).
Perhaps neither.
Combat sports fans were left guessing after “Rowdy” revamped her official website and teased “major news coming soon,” before running a video montage that featured the charmed life of the Olympic judoka.
Rousey (12-2) walked away from cage fighting last December following her second straight knockout loss. After Holly Holm put her out to pasture at UFC 193, the part-time actress was crushed by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 (video).
It may be time for Rousey, who is expected to marry boyfriend Travis Browne in the very near future, to fulfill her dream of being a mother, and to be frank, there is not much left for her to prove inside the Octagon.
