Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight champion Conor McGregor is busy getting ready for his professional boxing debut, which will come against the greatest pugilist of his generation, Floyd Mayweather, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., Aug. 26, 2017.
It's a tall order for the "Notorious" Irishman, who must somehow find a way to dent the armor of the undefeated (49-0) boxing legend. Accordingly, he has brought in several training partners, among them Paulie Malignaggie, a former a two-weight world champion who went to war with McGregor on multiple occasions.
And things apparently got a little twisted.
McGregor and Co. are making it seem like Malignaggie was dominated in the stand up by a fighter with no pugilistic experience, while “Magic Man” accused the Straight Blast Gym (SBG) team of painting an inaccurate picture.
So did McGregor whimper like a girl every time his ribs got roasted, or pound on his training partner like a boxing boss? We may find out the answer later this month when it’s time for “Notorious” to put his “Money” where his mouth is.
