Video: Jon Jones on ‘Good Morning America’ talking UFC 214, Brock Lesnar fight

The Jon Jones redemption tour continued on Monday as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion stopped by Good Morning America (GMA) in New York City to discuss his win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.

It’s a remarkable turnaround for “Bones,” who spent several years of his prime in serious personal and professional hot water. Much of that heat dissipated with his knockout win over “DC” last weekend in Anaheim and now Jones will set his sights on bigger and better opportunities.

Like former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

“I think it may be a while before Brock Lesnar is eligible to fight,” Jones told GMA host and former New York Giants Defensive End Michael Strahan. “Right now I’m just kind of waiting to hear from the UFC, and some different ideas outside of him.”

That’s odd.

In addition to Lesnar, Jones could move on to rematch Alexander Gustafsson, depending on whether or not “The Mauler” is paired off against this top contender in the coming months.

Stay tuned.
