Submission! Watch Joseph Morales choke out Roberto Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 114

The Fight Pass preliminary headliner earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 5, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 114 from inside Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico, produced immediate fireworks. In a battle of undefeated flyweights making their Octagon debuts, Team Alpha Male’s Joseph Morales cashed in quickly when he landed a beautiful right hand on Mexico’s own Roberto Sanchez. Sanchez would briefly recover before Morales chased him around the Octagon, grabbed a hold of his back, and secured the rear-naked choke submission finish.

The memorable first-round stoppage can be seen above courtesy of UFC.

With this win, Morales not only keeps his perfect professional record in tact but he jumps into the mix at 125 pounds with a flashy submission. The 22-year-old has a lot of work to do this early into his career, but he currently resides in a division desperate for new faces, especially ones who know how to finish.
