Paulie Malignaggi slams ‘bum groupies’ who jumped to wrong conclusions (again) over Mayweather spy gate

A few days before Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather mixed it up inside the boxing ring at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, a video surfaced showing Floyd and Paulie Malignaggi laughing at Team “Notorious” for allowing Paulie to enter their training camp in preparation for the fight.

That’s because “Money” claimed Malignaggi was sent there on his behalf to serve as a spy.

“Suckas.”

A few days removed from the unprecedented boxing match — which Mayweather won via 10th round technical knockout -- Paulie says the video was all a joke, as Mayweather doesn’t need any secret intel to bring “the bitch” out of Conor.

“We were just catching up and joking around,” Malignaggi said. “Just having a good time. He was in very, very good spirits. You wouldn’t even realize it was fight week for him if you didn’t know him,” he said on The MMA Hour (via MMA Fighting).

“You think Floyd really needs the game plan to beat Conor McGregor?” Malignaggi said. “I mean, did you think Floyd had any other game plan besides just bringing the bitch out of him? Floyd’s only game plan was bringing the bitch out of him, that’s it,” he added.

The way Paulie sees it, people are so gullible and are quick to believe anything, as was the case with the now-infamous sparring pictures and videos which showed “Notorious” getting the best of Paulie.

“The irony is that people jump to conclusions and they jumped to the wrong conclusion about this,” Malignaggi said. “Didn’t they jump to the wrong conclusion about my sparring pictures and the sparring videos he put out? I said, ‘That’s ironic.’ That’s ironic that these bum groupies fall for it every single time.”

Not really jumping to a conclusion if Mayweather actually admitted it, but, whatever, it’s all a bunch of “trash” at the end of the day.
