Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been missing in action since flunking his UFC 214 pre-fight drug test, which overshadowed his knockout win over Daniel Cormier last month in Anaheim, California.
More on that fiasco here.
But “Bones” peeked his head out from behind the curtain on Sunday — kinda/sorta — with a social media message directed toward mixed martial arts (MMA) fans, and it sounds like the pound-for-pound great is keeping his composure.
Times like these remind me how blessed I truly am. So much to be grateful for

Good thing he didn’t invoke a certain bible passage.
Jones, who previously served a drug-test suspension in the wake of UFC 200, will wait for United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) to test his B-sample prior to summoning him for a formal hearing.
The result of which could be disastrous for his combat sports career, assuming he’s not innocent or set-up. Unfortunately it’s a rather laborious process, so we may not know for several more weeks.
Stay tuned.
