Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will now have extra incentive to pull out the victory this Saturday night (Aug. 26, 2017) in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the winner of the 12-round boxing match will be awarded a brand new belt.
And not just any belt, the “Money Belt,” to be exact, as WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman announced the bit of news earlier today during the final press conference leading up to the fight.
Here’s a closer look:

In order to celebrate this great event between the WBC champion, hero and the UFC hero Conor McGregor, the WBC has created the money belt. This belt has 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds, 1.5 milligrams of solid 24-karat gold and alligator leather that comes form Italy.
Of course, Mayweather has captured just about every belt imaginable in his weight classes, while “Notorious” became the first and only man to ever hold two separate division titles at the same time, winning the Featherweight and Lightweight titles.
Now, the winner can add what I can only calculate to be an expense piece of hardware to his mantle.
